The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
